Veľmi unikátna kniha, kde oceán planéty Solaris materializuje ľudské myšlienky a túžby. Ide o desivý a nepredvídateľný svet, ktorý vedie postavy k šialenstvu. Kniha je ale miestami ťažká a vyčerpávajúca na čítanie.

Takhle si představuju scifi. Žádná pohádka, kde se kouzelníci a rytíři akorát přepravují vesmírnými loděmi. Ale zasazení člověka do naprosto nového kontextu a prostředí, kde není jasné, co je skutečnost a co je jen v hlavě hrdiny a kde se testuje, co to je vlastně život a co jen chemie. Může být planeta bytost?
Jedna z mých nejoblíbenějších knih, od začátku jsem byla úplně pohlcená tou tajemnou atmosférou a dost unikátně to zpracovává téma lásky
