Adelaide Victoria Arnold was a popular novelist who between 1911 and 1928 published 10 works of fiction. Of these 10 works 3 were set in the English Lake counties and touched upon a wide spectrum of challenging subjects - human trafficking, the slave trade, PTSD, gender imbalance, posthumous love. The book provides an abridgment of the stories.
