Focusing on the conservation of the Sitatunga, a unique aquatic antelope, this study investigates sustainable maintenance strategies within the Sitatunga Valley Community Nature Park. Utilizing participatory diagnostic tools, including interviews and SWOT analysis, the research highlights the necessity of developing protected wetland areas and a green belt to support the species. The involvement of local communities in ecological monitoring is emphasized, aiming to gather reliable data for effective conservation efforts.
