Mathematics in Nature: A Pedagogical Approach

Exploring the intersection of mathematics and nature, this book documents a unique educational experiment during the Philippine Enhanced Community Quarantine. Five educators from diverse fields took on a challenge to teach preschoolers essential numeracy skills, such as counting and understanding time, through nature-based lessons. The study includes pre-and post-assessments of students' skills and qualitative interviews with the teachers, analyzing their experiences and insights on using natural elements as teaching tools for effective learning.
