Focusing on Colombia's alarming homicide rates, this research delves into the statistics surrounding killings of men, women, and minors over the past five years. It examines the methods used in these homicides, including knives, firearms, explosives, and blunt weapons, across various departments. Advanced statistical analyses, such as the Shapiro-Wilk test and ANOVA, were employed to project a grim forecast for 2023, estimating between 10,552 and 13,540 homicides by year's end.
