Set in Haida Gwaii, the story follows a young Haida girl and her family as they journey up the Yakoun River during summer to follow the salmon. While their father is fishing, the girl and her brother engage in play and learn valuable lessons from their Grandfather, Tsinii. This narrative beautifully weaves together themes of family, tradition, and the connection to nature.
