Focusing on the ecological and economic significance of Arbutus unedo L, this work emphasizes its role in biodiversity and the need for preservation. The study highlights the ethnobotanical and industrial potential of Arbutus, advocating for its domestication and cultivation as an industrial crop, particularly in western Algeria, to enhance its utilization and conservation.
