Exploring the intersection of womanist theological ethics and pentecostalism in Europe, this monograph critiques classical pentecostalism's historical failure to harmonize the body with spirituality, particularly regarding hierarchies that marginalize certain bodies. By examining the African and Wesleyan roots of the movement and conducting qualitative and textual research, it analyzes contemporary progressive pentecostalism in Britain. The work culminates in the development of a womanist pentecostal theology that emphasizes the significance of the Spirit and the bodies of the oppressed for a comprehensive understanding of faith and ministry.
