Focusing on the intersection of legal psychology and substance abuse, this research examines the therapeutic community within the Combita penitentiary. It aims to prevent and address psychoactive substance use among inmates, highlighting the legal implications under Law 65 of 1993. The study assesses the impact of these interventions on mental health and re-socialization efforts. Utilizing a quantitative approach, it involves administering psychological tests to prisoners at two intervals to analyze the effectiveness of the treatment provided.
