Empirical study of entrepreneurial dynamics

Focusing on the province of Haut-Katanga, particularly Lubumbashi, this work explores the rising unemployment crisis and the potential of youth entrepreneurship as a solution. Drawing on the theories of Verstraete and Fayolle, it examines four key paradigms of entrepreneurship: opportunity discovery, organization creation, value creation, and innovation. The findings suggest that fostering youth entrepreneurship could significantly contribute to economic growth, provided there is an enhancement of fiscal and administrative support for the private sector.
