The book delves into the linguistic attitudes of the Wayuu community in Majayura, Colombia, exploring how individuals perceive and feel about their language. It examines personal beliefs, linguistic preferences in various contexts, and emotions related to language use. Grounded in social psychology and sociolinguistics, the study employs a multicomponential mentalistic model to analyze cognitive, emotional, and behavioral factors influencing these attitudes. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research is descriptive and ethnographic, focusing on direct attitude analysis.
