Focusing on the barriers to girls' education in the far north of Cameroon, the study aims to inform policy makers about the persistent challenges that hinder school enrollment for females. It serves as an analytical framework to tackle school wastage among girls and seeks to reduce this issue in the short term. While acknowledging the state's efforts to enhance education access, the study highlights the ongoing disparity in school attendance between girls and boys, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions to improve female integration into the educational system.
