The dissertation examines food security through a tripartite lens, starting with an analysis of economic and developmental factors that contribute to food security, culminating in an index for tracking changes across nations. The second chapter investigates the correlation between this index and dietary diversity, while the final chapter focuses on a detailed study of food security in Saudi Arabia. Utilizing principal component analysis (PCA), the research aims to identify key variables and their weights, facilitating a comprehensive comparison of food security across various countries.
