Focusing on sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation, this work details the Caña Brava Project initiated in 2001, which aims to achieve self-regulation and dynamic equilibrium of the Amazon's mega-biodiversity. It highlights collaborative research involving university students and local agricultural producers, addressing soil degradation and production systems. The project encompasses studies across the high Andean territory and the upper eastern Amazon floodplain in Peru, emphasizing the importance of ecological balance in one of the planet's most biodiverse regions.
