This area was pivotal for the emergence of early religions like Vedism and Mazdaism, stemming from primitive beliefs. It also marks the beginnings of metallurgy, as inhabitants learned to extract iron from swamp ores. The concept of "Santa Claus" is linked to ancient traditions, where priests, resembling modern depictions, engaged in rituals that hint at early notions of the afterlife.
