The book explores the challenges faced by over 150,000 university students in Panama during the transition to virtual learning due to the pandemic. It highlights obstacles such as noise, power outages, inadequate internet access, and the sharing of devices, all of which hinder the learning experience in family homes. Through qualitative research involving 2,560 students, the study reveals that the home environment is largely unsuitable for attending virtual classes, emphasizing the resilience required to navigate these difficulties.
