Set in November 1745, the narrative follows Charles Edward Stuart as he claims Scotland, facing the threat of King George's forces in England. The Scottish Jacobite army, despite its small numbers, boldly invades England, utilizing a strategic three-column march to maintain the element of surprise. Lord Kilmarnock's regiment of horse grenadiers is tasked with transporting crucial supplies through enemy territory, but with only 150 men, their mission's success is critical for the prince's campaign against the approaching regiments.
