Exploring the resurgence of truth-seeking in Germany regarding World War II, this work draws parallels to the Weimar Republic's efforts to reassess responsibility for World War I. It argues that the revisionist case for Germany's actions in 1939 is even more compelling than for 1914. The author critiques the post-1945 treatment of Germany as excessively harsh, highlighting policies like the Morgenthau Plan and decisions made during the Potsdam Conference as particularly unjust compared to the aftermath of World War I.
