The study emphasizes the critical role of cultural integration in teaching literary texts within foreign language education, particularly in Algerian classrooms where culture is often treated as secondary. It proposes a model for incorporating cultural elements into literature instruction, utilizing the "Culture Bump Theory" to analyze cultural differences in E. M. Forster's A Passage to India. Through didactic analysis, the work underscores the necessity of embedding cultural understanding in language teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
