Exploring the paradox of Egyptology, this work delves into how ancient Egyptian lives are studied through their material culture rather than direct human experiences. It examines the dynamic relationship between non-human actants and human actors in shaping Pharaonic culture. By employing Actor-Network Theory, the text presents a framework for understanding technology as a product of these interactions, highlighting how ancient lives and their legacies are preserved and transmitted through material remains.
