Focusing on the role of the National Ethnology Office (BNE), the book highlights its significance in showcasing Haiti's artistic and cultural heritage while educating the populace. Established in 1941, it is the only surviving museum from Haiti's early museum era, playing a crucial role in legitimizing and promoting Haitian cultural practices. Despite its importance, the BNE struggles with outdated management systems and financial limitations. The introduction of Results-Based Management (RBM) is proposed to better preserve and enhance Haiti's cultural identity and democratize access to its heritage.
