This study offers a groundbreaking analysis of corporate governance by comparing levels before and after the Companies Act of 2013. It evaluates governance using an extensive range of variables—90 in the Pre phase and 118 in the Post phase—incorporating all variables outlined by SEBI regulations. The research categorizes these into Mandatory, Non-Mandatory, Voluntary, and Industry-Specific Variables, with a unique focus on the Pharmaceutical sector and adherence to the Government of India's 2009 Voluntary Guidelines, setting it apart from previous studies.
