Focusing on the long-term outcomes of bucket-handle meniscal lesions, this work explores the impact of these injuries, typically caused by knee hyperflexion. It highlights the significance of preserving meniscus function for effective knee stabilization and force transmission. The study reports that 80-90% of patients experienced good to excellent results post-resection, with an 85% positive ARPEGE score and 57.5% of patients feeling their knee was normal or nearly normal at follow-up. The findings emphasize the importance of careful surgical approaches to ensure optimal recovery.
