Mapping the fertility of Tunisian soils: organic carbon

The study focuses on mapping organic carbon stocks in Tunisian soils, revealing that they store 0.859 Gt C at a depth of one meter, with 46% found in the top 30 cm. It addresses the distribution of organic carbon and provides maps that serve as tools for visualizing soil fertility levels. Additionally, these maps function as an interactive decision support system, illustrating soil responses to various scenarios, including new cropping systems, land use changes, and climate change impacts.
