Socioanthropology of the failure of village water committees

Focusing on the socio-anthropology of water access issues, this research examines the failures of village water committees in Bouaké, Côte d'Ivoire. It highlights the challenges posed by development policies and the inadequate implementation of water projects, particularly in rural areas. The study emphasizes the neglect of social realities faced by local communities, often perceived as lacking modern intelligence. Through documentary research, interviews, and focus groups, the investigation seeks to uncover the underlying factors contributing to these failures in water management.
