The bat assemblages of the Guamuhaya Mountains, Cuba

The book presents extensive research conducted over 30 years by the Samá Group on bat species in the Guamuhaya Mountains of Cuba. Aimed at addressing gaps in knowledge about chiropteran assemblages in this region, the study involved significant sampling efforts across various conditions. Researchers conducted 100 nights of fieldwork, capturing 1,698 bats from 20 out of 26 known species in Cuba, highlighting the ecological diversity and importance of this area for bat conservation.
