Focusing on the importance of diversity management in elementary institutions, this thesis explores its relevance in the context of immigration and globalization. Through systematic literature research, it identifies effective diversity strategies for child education and care, emphasizing the need for staff training in interculturality. The study examines the dynamic between organizations, managers, and staff, highlighting that self-reflection and ongoing engagement with diversity are crucial. It uses the City of Linz's kindergartens as a case study to illustrate these findings.
