The research delves into the evolving behaviors of young offenders in Venezuela, focusing on the construction of masculine identity and their pursuit of respect and power. Utilizing a phenomenological and social constructionist approach, it employs qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews. Key findings highlight their initiation into crime, motivations for remaining in this lifestyle, survival strategies, and the influences shaping their experiences. This study provides a nuanced understanding of the social dynamics surrounding youth delinquency in Venezuela.
