Men are often granted the privilege of discussing themselves, a notion I find perplexing. I have chosen to utilize this privilege differently by revisiting my thoughts expressed over a long career. This collection features essays and addresses that I couldn't bring myself to discard, reflecting my enduring interests: poetry, painting, teaching, and the perplexing human condition in an incomprehensible universe. I release these writings like flotsam on the shore, hoping they might spark interest among those grappling with significant life questions. The publisher, Forgotten Books, specializes in reviving rare and classic works, employing advanced technology to restore original formats while addressing imperfections in aged copies.
