Why I Run ?: An Exhilarating Running Saga of Alpana Agarwal

This is a story of the evolution of a hesitant housewife into an accomplished Long Distance runner who has completed running more than 80 different forms of Long Distance runs so far. It is Alpana Agarwal's innate desire to continue running till she is alive on this earth. Alpana's journey has been akin to making a Rangoli which on a path of evolution and adaptation starts with a monochrome colour, an analogy from Alpana's journey of Long Distance running that she has traversed so far, evolving from initial reluctance & hesitancy to bursting off the blocks and scaling all the targets in the form of a riot of colours manifest in testing the mettle in different kinds of races and coming out as a winner with flying colours. The analogy of Rangoli with the saga of run that Alpana has traversed in his life so far has been used as Alpana has traversed this journey on her own without any coach, guide or mentor.
