Throughout human history, there is the constitution of individual and collective meanings that influenced the change of perspectives, modalities and behaviors facing death and grief. Under this scenario, generally, health professionals are in contact with the process of death and grief in its various forms and meanings. Also starting from the premise of the complexity and uniqueness of the theme, this book meets the demand to reflect and generate knowledge about the experience of health professionals on the process of death and mourning, analyzing their difficulties, possibilities, cognitive and emotional aspects and coping strategies that circumvent this experience.
