This book is a representation of who Barbara once was. I used slang words in my story to depict the true essence of the younger Barbara, who at an early age was handled in away that took the tears right out of her eyes. The pain I felt is in every word i wrote to express the deepness of my pain. I am not her any longer, but I do not apologize for where I came from. Therefore, I dedicate this book to me. I made it out and I am forever grateful to God for another chance to get it right. You will go on a journey with me and see how God brought me through some tough and painful times that came to break me. This book will exemplify true resilience and that bull dog tenacity. Every time I thought I was down for the count, I fought my way up and out. It was the true Grace of God that brought me through. My childhood took away my tears My first husband left me broken My second husband made me second guess myself Today I am living my life.... GOD'S WAY!
