The top 50 verbs are treated as extensive examples illustrating basic meanings, use with prepositions, and key idiomatic expressions - conveniently located on the facing page. Rules of formation and explanations of usage (and equivalent meaning in English) are displayed in spreads for each tense. Reflexive verbs and the passive are similarly treated. The volume also contains an index of 2500 French verbs.
