A mysterious sea monster, rumored to be a giant narwhal, threatens ships and causes damage to an ocean liner, prompting the United States government to launch an expedition to eliminate the threat. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist, is invited to join the mission due to his expertise. Accompanied by Canadian harpoonist Ned Land and his loyal assistant Conseil, the expedition embarks on a thrilling adventure to confront the enigmatic creature lurking beneath the waves.
