Hned po čtvrtce přečtené knihy jsem byla rozhodnutá, že knize nedám víc než dvě hvězdy. Autorka často zdlouhavě popisovala zbytečnosti a nějak mi nesedl její styl psaní. Celkově mi přišlo, že i špatně popsala postavu Beryl, protože mi byla strašně nesympatická. Nakonec v polovině jsem se ale přes několik těhle problémů dostala a postava Beryl si mě získala. Co ale musím vytknout autorce je to, že hodně čtenářů může nalákat právě na pilotování (už jen ten název!), ale to se v knize objeví jen v posledních třech kapitolách. Jinak se kniha věnuje hlavně trénování koní. Nakonec to není špatná kniha, ke konci si mě i získala, ale znovu bych po ní nesáhla.
