Enter the dark, magical world of the House of Night series, where vampyres have always existed. However, not all who are Marked survive the Change. As Zoey navigates her new reality, she learns she is special, chosen by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx. Alongside her newfound powers come bloodlust and an unwanted Imprint with Heath, who struggles to accept her boundaries. Additionally, Zoey discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's elite group, is misusing her gifts. Faced with these challenges, Zoey must find the courage to embrace her destiny, relying on her new vampyre friends for support.
