The U.S. Atlantic fleet races to intercept a rogue Russian submarine, funded by ISIS, poised to launch a missile attack on the East Coast. A missile strike on a convoy leaving the U.N. headquarters kills several diplomats, including the American ambassador, revealing the assailant as Mark Alperi, a disgraced former special forces operative. Before he can be apprehended, Alperi advances his plan for a catastrophic attack on the U.S., aiming to surpass the devastation of 9/11. He bribes a desperate Russian submarine commander with access to a costly experimental drug for his ill daughter, convincing him to launch missiles under the guise of a training exercise. Unbeknownst to the commander, Alperi has secretly replaced four missile warheads with surplus nuclear warheads. When the Russian submarine sinks a U.S. sub tracking it, alarm bells ring in the U.S. military. As intelligence uncovers Alperi's plot, the urgency escalates: they must locate and neutralize the Russian submarine before it can unleash a nuclear catastrophe on American soil. Time is running out in this high-stakes game of cat and mouse.
