Melissa Morales, former beauty queen from Venezuela, arrives to a scorching hot California. With her she is bringing something utterly devastating. Soon humans and animals in her vicinity begin to behave strangely and out of control. John Buck - a dissolute door-to-door salesman with a well lubricated mouth - and Melissa, cross each other's path. It turns out that she is looking for a man with exactly the talents and qualities John possesses and gives him a special offer he cannot resist. Two other men - one a scientist and the other a wealthy industrial magnate - is given the same offer. Unaware of what awaits them, the three men arrive at a desolate hotel in the middle of nowhere to attend a conference hosted by the mysterious Melissa. A conference whose sole purpose is to change the destiny of Planet Earth's population for eternity.
