All men naturally want to know is the story of the nights of my youth, of its wanderings, of its alliances and its tears. It is the story of my desire that has become an identity and a fight. I was eighteen. I was an arrow shot towards his target, which no one could deflect from his trajectory. I had a fever. Four times a week, I went to the Kat, a women's club, on rue du Vieux-Colombier. Two hearts were beating then, mine and that of the eighties. I was looking for love. I learned about violence and submission. This violence linked me to the country of my childhood and adolescence, Algeria, as well as to its poetry, to its nature, wild, virgin, brutal. This book is the limitless space of these two territories
