In this narrative, Jamling Tenzing Norgay offers a unique perspective on Everest, intertwining the lives of his family, the mountain, and their heritage. As the Climbing Leader of the 1996 Everest IMAX expedition, Jamling followed in the footsteps of his legendary father, Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, who famously summited Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953. While his father is celebrated as a pioneer, twelve of Jamling's relatives have also reached the summit of Chomolungma, the mountain revered in Sherpa culture.
