It is 1888. A criminal called Jack the Ripper is loose in London, and Inspector Abberline is baffled. Commissioner Sir Charles Warren is furious and the public is demanding an arrest. As a last resort, Inspector Abberline asks Holmes for assistance. Skill, experience, and luck lead Holmes and Watson directly to the Italian financier, Baron Antonio Barlucci. The long-time friend of Commander Warren, Barlucci is a ruthless vampire, whose bloody trail stretches from London to Paris. He's in London to seek the help of Dr. Alan Tramaine, to cure his vampirism, for he's fallen in love with Sir Charles' niece. If Holmes and Watson can't prove the Baron's guilt and quickly, an innocent man will swing from the gallows.
