A dog being intentionally starved, dehydrated and left to die. A man's body found in suspicious circumstances. Cats going missing and burglaries targeting antiques. Are these crimes linked at all, and if so, how and why? DI Halstead and DS Trent make a great team and enjoy working together. Not only do they get the job done, but they have a good time doing so. They're asked to help out at another station on a specific job, but all is not what it seems. Something is going on with their colleagues but they're not sure what.
