Seventeen-year-old Lyra Daniels faces an unwanted move across the Milky Way Galaxy, forced by her parents' obsession with their groundbreaking discovery of life-sized terracotta Warriors on multiple exoplanets. The invention of the Q-net allows for interstellar travel but comes with the complication of time dilation, meaning Lyra must leave her friends fifty years behind. As her parents, renowned experts on the Warriors, dive into their research, Lyra's social life crumbles, and she spends her days illegally accessing the Q-net. The only person her age is a charming security officer who threatens her with confinement. When communications from their previous planet go silent and critical data files disappear, the situation escalates. With security focused on larger issues, Lyra finds herself in a precarious position, realizing they may not be alone on their new planet. As tensions rise, it becomes clear that time isn't the only challenge they face.
