Set against the backdrop of the Armenian mountains between 1915 and 1960, the story follows an old man and a newborn boy who escape the Hamidian massacres. They find refuge in the ruins of an abandoned village, which soon attracts others fleeing their troubled pasts. This secluded community survives by trading agricultural goods with nearby villages, creating a unique microcosm of resilience and solidarity amidst the turmoil of their histories.
