Focusing on the author's personal journey, the narrative explores recovery from a life-altering car crash that resulted in a dual diagnosis of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Over a decade, the author reflects on the themes of post-traumatic growth (PTG) and identity transformation, offering insights into the emotional and psychological challenges faced during the healing process. This autoethnographic study combines personal experience with qualitative research to illuminate the complexities of recovery.
