Exploring the intersection of post-Holocaust Jewish thought and postcolonial theory, this work delves into Emmanuel Levinas's philosophy. Elad Lapidot contends that Levinas, often critiqued for his Eurocentrism, proactively addressed these concerns, laying the groundwork for a decolonial Jewish perspective and a reimagined decolonial Zionism since the 1960s. The book challenges existing narratives and reinterprets Levinas's contributions in the context of contemporary decolonial discourse.
