The Kennewicketts are thrust into a high-stakes battle against the evil Mesmers, who are scheming to take over the world. Their mission involves thwarting a smuggling operation in Italy and saving Nikola Tesla's sabotaged invention designed to provide free electrical power. As they journey in the airship Daedalus, they encounter murderous sky pirates but manage to escape aboard the Arachne, a steam-powered mechanical spider. With their robotic staff and the clever Wally, they must confront the Mesmers' leaders, Iron Claw and Madini, to protect their world once again.
