Egyptian Language, Easy Lessons in Egyptian Hieroglyphics is a beginner's instruction manual written in 1910 by Egyptologist and hieroglyphic expert Sir Ernest A. Wallis Budge. Intended as an easy introduction for anyone interested in learning the ancient Egyptian writing of hieroglyphics, Egyptian Language includes a short history on hieroglyphs, including the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, and lessons in phonetics and ideographs, parts of speech, and extracts of real Egyptian works (such as The Book of the Dead) with which to practice.
