The very flattering manner in which the Madras edition was received by all the high authorities in India, the general utility of which it was found in that country, the subsequent approbation it met with from the Honourable the Court of Directors, and the numerous applications that have been made for it since out of print, have include me to lay before the public this enlarged, and , I hope, much improved work.
