A neurologist invents an ingenious device which produces a dramatic advance in studying the human mind. Using cutting-edge laser technology, his creation called the SoulTaker can communicate with the minds of others without their being aware. As well as enabling confidential information to be extracted, it can influence thinking and effect mind control. When Iran and North Korea become aware of this invention, they work together to devise a cunning plot to steal the device and use it for nefarious purposes.
